<p>When DTMF signals are stripped, the number of conferences that can be processed simultaneously by a teleconference server is reduced. This DTMF signal stripping device determines, on the basis of a comparison of the signal level of the audio signal to a threshold value, whether a signal other than a DTMF signal is included in the audio signal; in the event that a signal other than a DTMF signal is included, outputs a first signal from which the DTMF signal frequency components have been stripped from the audio signal, or in the event that no signal other than a DTMF signal is contained, outputs a second signal in which the audio signal is replaced by another signal; and performs a sound determination of the first signal, setting the threshold value on the basis of the result of the sound determination and the signal level of the audio signal.</p> |
