Disclosed are methods and an apparatus for displaying a computer application or computer activity. One or more computer applications or computer activities may be within a first activity stack. An active computer application or computer activity within an activity stack may be defined as a computer application or computer activity that is to be displayed on a display. A user may input an instruction to pin a first computer application or computer activity. In response to receiving the instruction, a second activity stack may be provided and the first computer application or computer activity may then be moved from the first activity stack to the second activity stack. This may be such that the first computer application or computer activity is an active computer application or computer activity in the second activity stack. Active computer applications or computer activities may then be displayed.
