The present invention relates to heterogeneous or artificially created forms of plant defensins, and to uses of such heterogeneous or artificially created defensins including methods for preventing or treating proliferative diseases. Compositions for use as animal and human medicaments are also provided. The present invention also relates to associated methods, uses, systems and kits.
