An image processing system (1) in an embodiment is provided with a first alignment unit (156b), an output unit (157a), a second alignment unit (221a), and a display unit (223). The first alignment unit (156b) aligns first three-dimensional medical-image data with second three-dimensional medical-image data. The output unit (157a) outputs output data consisting of one of the following: data consisting of the first three-dimensional medical-image data and the second three-dimensional medical-image data with alignment information added thereto; or composite data obtained by aligning and compositing together the first three-dimensional medical-image data and the second three-dimensional medical-image data. The second alignment unit (221a) receives the aforementioned output data and aligns the second three-dimensional medical-image data with one or more pieces of X-ray image data. On the basis of the results of said alignment, the display unit (223) displays image data in which the first three-dimensional medical-image data is aligned to the X-ray image data.
