The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are an inspection method, device, and system for controlling network access of a client, allowing, from multiple dimensions such as system kernel and system settings, for inspection and repair of damages made by malicious programs to the network access of client applications. Provided in embodiments of the present invention, the inspection method for controlling the network access of the client comprises: selecting a system setting inspection item on the basis of the system setting of the client; by utilizing the system setting inspection item and communication information of a network object that a client application needs to access, inspecting the communication between the client application and the network object; when the inspection result indicates that the communication is abnormal, repairing the system setting inspection item, and when the inspection result indicates that the communication is normal, allowing the client application to access the network object; when the repair of the system setting inspection item fails, inspecting a driver inspection item, when the inspection result indicates that the communication is abnormal, repairing the driver inspection item, and when the inspection result indicates that the communication is normal, allowing the client application to access the network object.
