PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crankshaft flaw detection device which automatically detects flaws in a crankpin, a journal, a web and a fillet part, thereby enabling flaw detection time to be significantly reduced.SOLUTION: The crankshaft flaw detection device for use in detecting flaw of a crankshaft is provided which includes: a pair of shaft flaw detecting heads having a first probe that is configured so as to be able to hold a crankpin or a journal from above and underneath and that can detect flaw of the shaft surface or a second probe capable of detecting flaw of a fillet at the root of the shaft; and a vertical face flaw detecting head having a third probe that is configured so as to be able to abut on the crankpin or the journal from substantially sideways. The vertical face flaw detecting head and the pair of shaft flaw detecting heads are configured so as to be able to shift within a prescribed vertical plane. |
