PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet capable of increasing the momentum of wash water flowing from a front side of a bowl part to an inlet of a drain trap part, and capable of improving dirt discharge performance even when an amount of wash water used for washing a toilet bowl is set at a smaller amount.SOLUTION: An inventive water closet 1 includes: a bowl part 4 provided with a dirt receiving surface 10 and a shelf part 12; a rim part 14 formed in an upper edge of the bowl part; and a standing wall part 20 formed on a rear side shelf part 12a of the bowl part or in a conduit in an upstream thereof and protruded upward. The standing wall part is formed such that wash water supplied from a wash water source and discharged from a central water discharge port 8 of a central conduit 6 at the back of the bowl part collides with the standing wall part, thereafter is branched into both sides disposed on left and right sides thereof, and flows to a front side of the bowl part via a lateral side shelf part 12b of the bowl part. |
