PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of inhibiting the damage of an operation button and a switch element during assembly.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device according to this invention includes: a substrate 10 to which a switch element 11 that is operated by pressing of a movable part 13 is fixed; a housing 20 which houses the substrate 10; and an operation button 30 fixed to the housing 20. The operation button 30 includes: a button part 31 exposed to the exterior of the housing 20; and a pressing part 32 which contacts with the movable part 13 of the switching element 11 and presses the movable part 13 when the button part 31 is pressed. The pressing part 32 includes: a first inclined surface 35 which connects a first surface 33 with a second surface 34 and inclines relative to the first surface 33 at a first angle; and a second inclined surface 36 which connects the first surface 33 with the second surface 34 and inclines relative to the first surface 33 at a second angle which is smaller than the first angle.
