PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of performing proper driving support when a vehicle pulls over on a road.SOLUTION: A driving support device 10 measures a distance between a vehicle end which is an end portion of an own vehicle in the vehicle width direction and a road end which is the nearest point to the vehicle end among end portions of a road in the road width direction, and draws with visible light a belt-shaped figure indicating a region in which the vehicle can be pulled over on the road in the travelling direction. When a solid obstacle is present on a road shoulder, a side view mirror of the own vehicle or a spot of a vehicle body closest to the road end portion in the road width direction is set as the vehicle end (Fig. 3(a)). When the solid obstacle is not present, a side portion of tires on a vehicle width side is set as the vehicle end (Fig. 3(b)). |
