The present invention relates to an emergency reporting system using a disguised code and a method thereof. In mobile devices such as a smart phone and a tablet PC, or in automated teller machine (ATM) and other devices performing financial transactions, or in a door lock device with a communications function and other user electronic communications devices with a user security code input method and a network communications function, a disguised code used in an emergency and a user security code used in normal situations as well are generated and stored. When an emergency or a crime threat occurs, the disguised code is inputted and an emergency signal is transmitted to a user emergency control unit. Even if the disguised code is in use, the operation mode seems normal as if the normal code is in use. A user in an emergency or exposed to a criminal threat can actively react to the situation using the emergency reporting system and the method.
