摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission mechanism configured to prevent load variation of a rotating body from being transmitted to a latent image carrier, and to prevent rotation of the rotating body from starting later than the latent image carrier, and to provide an image forming device.SOLUTION: A drive transmission mechanism 120 transmits rotating drive power of a drive source, such as a photoreceptor drive motor M1, to a latent image carrier, such as a photoreceptor 8 carrying a latent image, and a rotating body, such as an application brush roller 62 rotating in contact with the latent image carrier. The drive transmission mechanism 120 includes: a latent image carrier gear, such as a photoreceptor gear part 122a, provided coaxially with the latent image carrier and engaged with a driving gear 121 of the drive source to transmit the rotating drive power to the latent image carrier; and a first gear 122b rotating coaxially and integrally with the latent image carrier gear. The drive power of the drive source is transmitted to the rotating body by multiple gear engagement from the first gear 122b.
