The sleeve cartridge (1) has a cylindrical cartridge case (3) and a bullet (5) inserted in a front opening (7) of the cartridge case. A propellant charge (15) is arranged in a space (11) of the cartridge case, while an ignition charge (17) is ignited by a firing pin of a firearm. The ignition charge is supported on an anvil (19) with a recess (21). The ignition charge is arranged in another space (13) of the cartridge case, and is ignited by the firing pin through a rear opening (23). The spaces of the cartridge case are separated by the anvil. The rear opening is closed by a closing unit (25) that allows the transmission of the impact impulse of the firing pin on the ignition charge.
