<p>A support 1 for supporting a baby in a bath comprises an upper surface 4 and a lower surface 3 with a tapered side profile over at least part of its length, such that the head of an infant resting on the upper surface is raised away from the lower surface. The support may have raised sides (not shown). The upper surface 4 may be slip-resistant and have an indentation for the infants bottom. Lower surface 3 may have means, such as suction cups 5, to secure the support to the bath (not shown). The support may have a retractable hook (8, fig 5) for hanging the support to dry. The support may be flexible and made from injection mouldable polyurethane plastic, silicone or rubber, with a plurality of cavities (6, fig 5) that open onto the lower surface 3 to assist in rolling up the support. The rolled support may be stored in a netting bag having hanging means such as hooks or suction cups. In an alternative embodiment (not shown) the upper surface comprises a series of stalks of varying length (not shown) extending from the lower surface to define the taper.</p> |
