The present invention relates to a floating structure and a controlling method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a floating structure is run on a sailing mode and a jack up mode. The floating structure comprises: a main body capable of floating on the water; a leg which is penetrated into the main body in a vertical direction and which has an upper leg and a lower leg which is rotated to the upper leg; a leg support part for making the leg make a relative movement in the up and down direction; and a leg reception part formed in the main body for accommodating the lower leg. |
