DETERMINING POSITIONS OF A MAGNETIC FIELD PROBE IN A MAGNETIC RESONANCE MEASUREMENT
摘要
A method of determining positions of a magnetic field probe in a volume of interest within a magnetic resonance (MR) imaging or spectroscopy arrangement is disclosed. The MR imaging or spectroscopy arrangement executes a pulse sequence for encoding an associated MR response. The method comprises the steps of:
- applying a spatio-temporal magnetic reference field having a unique time-course at every point in the volume of interest during a preselected time window in which said positions shall be determined, said preselected time window substantially overlapping with a meaurement portion of said pulse sequence;
- acquiring MR signals from said magnetic field probe during said preselected time window;
- determining probe positions from said signals.
