A liquid crystal display device and a method and a device of driving the same are provided to reduce image blurring at boundaries of an image by applying over-driving data during one frame. A liquid crystal display device includes an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel(102), an input portion, driving portions(104,106), and an adaptive driver. Pixels are arranged in a matrix formation on the LCD panel. The input portion receives pixel data stream to be inputted to the pixels. The driving portions drive the LCD panel. The adaptive driver compensates the number of pixel data corresponding to a motion amount of the pixel data in a boundary region of the pixel data stream to be supplied to the drivers. The amount of over-compensation is gradually decreased as the pixel data progresses. |
