The present invention relates to a butterfly valve capable of preventing cavitation by reducing a flow rate of fluid passing through a disk when the disk is changed into the base opening. The butterfly valve according to the present invention comprises: the disk opening/closing a pipeline while rotating around a rotation shaft inside the pipeline in which the fluid flows; a flow rate reduction plate in a convex dome shape at the front surface facing the direction in which the fluid of the disk flows; and a liquid filler accommodated in a space between the flow rate reduction plate and the front surface of the disk. |
