<p>A torque conversion apparatus comprising: a torque input shaft (1), an externally toothed arc (3), a toothed arc frame (4), an internally toothed arc (5), overrunning clutches (7 and 9), and a torque output shaft (6). The overrunning clutches (7 and 9) are provided with outer ring gears (8 and 10). One end of the toothed arc frame (4) is fixed onto the torque input shaft (1). The internally toothed arc (5) is fixed onto the other end of the toothed arc frame (4). The externally toothed arc (3) is fixed onto the torque input shaft (1). The overrunning clutches (7 and 9) are two in number, and are fixed in a same direction onto the torque output shaft (6), one of the two is meshed with the externally toothed arc (3), while the other one is meshed with the internally toothed arc (5). The apparatus is capable of converting torques of reciprocating directions into a torque of a continuous direction for output, and is structurally compact.</p> |
