A lithium titanium oxide of a nanostructured form is provided to enhance a specific surface area of an electrode by using a lithium titanium oxide of the nanostructured form, to promote diffusion of a lithium ion, to improve a rate characteristic of the secondary battery and to be used as a consumer lithium-ion battery, power tool, and a hybrid rlectric vehicle. A lithium titanium oxide of a nanostructured form is provided by supplying the lithium to a titanium-containing intermediate of the nanostructured form. The lithium is inserted within a crystal lattice of a titanium-containing crystalline structure oxide of the nanostructured form. |
