The forming stage (20) has two terminals (3,4) for connection to the poles of a battery system. The terminals are conductively connected by a switching device (1). The inputs (13,14) are connected to a feed circuit. The inputs (13,14) are conductively connected to the switching device (1) and the terminals (3,4) respectively, by the switching device (2). The forming stage is operated in the switching operation of the switching devices which operate in the clock frequency within the range of 0-1000 kHz, corresponding to change frequency in the terminals.
