PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately calculate temperature of each single cell in a battery pack module having a plurality of single cells.SOLUTION: A battery unit 14 comprises: a lithium ion storage battery 13 having a plurality of single cells 16; and a temperature sensor 33 mounted on a single cell which is any of the plurality of single cells 16 and is a temperature measurement target. A battery ECU 27 previously determines relation among maximum temperature of the single cell of the temperature measurement target, temperature of a mounting position of the temperature sensor 33, and in-case temperature information and calculates temperature difference between a temperature estimation position and the sensor mounting position in the single cell of the temperature measurement target, on the basis of detection temperature of the temperature sensor 33 and the in-case temperature information. The battery ECU 27 also calculates a ratio of internal resistance of a single cell except the single cell of the temperature measurement target to that of the single cell of the temperature measurement target and calculates maximum temperature of the single cell except the single cell of the temperature measurement target, on the basis of the temperature difference of the single cell of the temperature measurement target and the ratio of internal resistance. |
