PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste embedding method capable of performing an embedding treatment in a short time with lower budget without requiring a large place even when a large amount of waste including a radioactive matter, etc. is generated.SOLUTION: A metallic waste housing container 11 is prepared, that is sealed after housing drums 12 with waste packed therein. A vertical hole 26 for embedding the multiple waste housing containers 11 is excavated in the ground 20. Then, a steel pipe 27 is arranged inside the vertical hole 26. A concrete base 30 is arranged under the steel pipe 27. The waste housing container 11 is placed on the concrete base 30. Then, the multiple waste housing containers 11 are further loaded up on the container. After the waste housing containers 11 are loaded up to a predetermined depth position from the ground 20, the upper part of the waste housing container 11 at the most upper position is sealed with concrete 34. |
