PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable power tool which achieves not only ease of use in both when the foldable power tool is straightened and when the foldable power tool is bent but also downsizing thereof so as to improve operability.SOLUTION: A power tool comprises: power transmission mechanisms (15 and 20) for transmitting rotational force of a motor 4 to an output shaft; a cylindrical front housing 3 for housing the mechanisms; and a cylindrical rear housing 2 that houses a battery pack 30 and forms a grip part. The front housing 3 and the rear housing 2 are connected to be turnable around a rotating shaft 10. In the rear housing 2, a switch 6 for starting the motor is provided so that a front-back position Lof a trigger portion 7 of the switch 6 overlaps (L) with the front-back position Lof the battery pack 30 housed in the rear housing 2. The switch 6 can adjust a rotation number of the motor 4 by an operation amount by the trigger portion 7. |
