The unit has a longitudinal beam (5) provided with an upright central web (6). Two carrier parts (27, 28) together form an angled support shoe (26). Parallel support plates are provided for a two-sided system and commonly attached to the central web. The support plates are arranged below a widened stiffening box. The carrier shoe comprises one or more attachment points for local attachment of drive units (10, 11) of a ranking drive (2). The carrier shoe is designed as a metal profile i.e. curved metal sheet profile.
