PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a printing blanket for removing only a deteriorated or damaged part without disposing the whole, while achieving satisfactory printing results. SOLUTION: The printing blanket includes a substantially semi-cylindrical elastic body 1, and a sheet bonded to side surfaces 1a and 1b having a circular-arc cross section, of the elastic body. The method of manufacturing the printing blanket includes the steps of: molding the substantially semi-cylindrical elastic body 1; forming the sheet 2 of a predetermined size; placing the sheet 2 on a flat surface 3; bringing the ridge line 1c of the elastic body 1 in contact with the placed sheet 2, and then, gradually pressing the side surfaces 1a and 1b against the sheet 2; prior to the pressing step, applying an adhesive to one or both of the side surfaces 1a and 1b of the elastic body 1 and the surface against which the elastic body 1 is pressed, of the sheet 2.
