摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous flux control member which controls light distribution emitted from a light emitting element, which can control light distribution individually about two directions orthogonal to an optical axis of the light emitting element and also orthogonal to each other, and which can suppress the occurrence of illuminance unevenness.SOLUTION: A luminous flux control member 100 includes: an emission surface 110 including an emission recess part 111 formed in such a manner that it crosses an optical axis LA of a light emitting element 210; an incident surface 120 configuring an inner face of an incident recess part 121 formed on the opposite side of the emission recess part 111; and a rear surface 130 extending in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis LA from an opening edge part of the incident recess part 121. A cross section that is orthogonal to the optical axis LA of at least one of the emission surface 110 and the incident surface 120 has an elliptical shape.
