摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a novel calibration mechanism for calibrating a solar cell, comprising a lifting device, a sensor device and a clamping device. The lifting device can be used for supporting and defining the solar cell to ascend or descend; the sensor device is used for detecting a position of the solar cell on the lifting device; and the clamping device is further used for clamping and calibrating the solar cell when the sensor device detects that the solar cell is placed on the lifting device. The invention further comprises a method for calibrating the solar cell. The method comprises: supporting and longitudinally defining the solar cell by using the lifting device; detecting the solar cell on the lifting device through the sensor device; and calibrating the solar cell in the transverse direction by using the clamping device. The calibration mechanism is simple in structure, low in manufacturing cost, easy to operate and high in calibration precision.</p>
