PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for storing a plurality of images, output format of which can be changed to a single page file format, without changing the sizes.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a setting control unit 111 which sets a page width for storing a plurality of images and an output order for outputting the plurality of images; a storage control unit 113 which stores the plurality of received images in the page within a range of the page width; an occupation area generating unit 114 which generates an area where each image occupies in the page on the basis of a layout of the plurality of images stored in the page; an image combining unit 115 which combines the plurality of stored images with a layout and sizes thereof maintained; an image storage unit 116 which stores the plurality of combined images as a single image together with the output order and the occupation area in a file; and an output control unit 117 which outputs the plurality of stored images after changing an output format on the basis of the output order and the occupation area in the case when receiving an order to output the stored images and the page width is changed in accordance with the setting. |
