<p>The method involves making (1) user input through input device and allowing user to select standing welding operations by user input. The computer device is provided to perform (2) determination and selection of parameter set as function of user input. The parameter set is retrieved from a memory device. The supply of welding wire and shielding gas are controllled based on the determined or selected parameter set. The parameters are specified by user before proceeding with the computer device of the parameter set is determined or selected. An independent claim is included for welding device for performing manual gas welding operation of workpiece.</p> |
