PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch between an on-state and an off-state in any of an on operation and an off operation, while achieving long life of an entire device.SOLUTION: In a swing operation type switching device, an operation member (3) provided swingably to a housing (2) includes a pair of drive parts (303a, 303b) at positions spaced apart in the extended direction of a conductor plate (9) and also, a drive part (7) includes a projection part arranged between the pair of the drive parts (303a, 303b). When the operation member (3) is operated to swing to one side, one drive part (303b) presses and drives the projection part to cause the conductor plate (9) to snap, allowing a movable contact (10) to abut against a fixed contact (403), and when the operation member (3) is operated to swing to the other side, the other drive part (303a) presses and drives the projection part to cause the conductor plate (9) to snap, allowing the movable contact (10) to separate from the fixed contact (403). |
