The present invention relates to a combined power generation apparatus using a reciprocating engine, which is able to generate power with high efficiency while freely changing an output by using the reciprocating engine which is used in a large ship instead of an existing gas turbine mode combined generator which is able to perform only a regular driving. The combined power generation apparatus using a reciprocating engine includes: a unit reciprocating engine generation unit (1) which comprises the reciprocating engine (11) capable of controlling an output and a first generator (12) generating power by being connected with the drive shaft of the reciprocating engine; a combustor (13) which increases the output by combusting after being supplied with exhaust gas which is generated when driving the reciprocating engine, a gas turbine (14) which rotates by being supplied with the exhaust gas discharged from the combustor, a reduction gear which changes a speed by being connected with the rotation shaft of the gas turbine; a second generator (16) which generates power by being connected to the reduction gear and a compressor (17) which supplies an air quantity which is necessary for the reciprocating engine as a part of the output of the gas turbine; a duct burner (2) which increases the temperature of the exhaust gas which is supplied from the reciprocating engine generation unit; a steam generation unit (3) which generates steam of high temperature and high pressure by exchanging the heat of gas and water of high temperature which passes the duct burner; and a steam power generation unit (4) which comprises a steam turbine (41) rotated by the steam generated in the steam generation unit and a third generator (42) generating power by being connected with the steam turbine by a shaft.
