The present disclosure relates to a method of producing a box offering improved leakage protection. A foldable sheet is pre-formed by defining a bottom, four sides surrounding the bottom, and at least one leak-resistant tab located at a junction between two adjacent sides. The leak-resistant tab forms an opposite angle of a corresponding corner of the bottom. The box is formed by folding the four sides along respective edges of the bottom and by folding the leak-resistant tab inwards of the box. At least one support column is attached inside the box to enclose the at least one leak-resistant tab beneath the at least one support column. A corresponding foldable sheet, a box and a matrix for preforming the foldable sheet are also disclosed. |
