The method involves embossing plastic films (1) by thermoforming. The embossed films are superimposed by welding or adhering such that embossing marks form a three dimensional network of cells (2) by intercalating fibrous reinforcement sheets, un-embossed flat film or anti-infraction metallic grid between the embossed plastic films when required. The cells are closed between external skins (3).
