A method for the production of aqueous dispersions and/or suspensions of calcium carbonate (CC) and kaolin,involves (a) making an aqueous dispersion and/or suspension of natural and/or precipitated CC with a dry substance content of 45-70 (preferably 60-70) wt.%,optionally in presence of dispersants and/or milling aids and (b) adding kaolin to obtain a dispersion and/or suspension with a ratio of CC to kaolin (dry weights) = (90:10)-(10:90),preferably (80:20)-(60:40). An independent claim is also included for dispersions and/or suspensions obtained by this method.
