PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capillary isoelectric point electrophoresis apparatus capable of preventing occurrence of an electroosmotic flow, even with use of a capillary of which the inner surface has no coating treatment.SOLUTION: The capillary isoelectric point electrophoresis apparatus includes a capillary 1 of which at least one end is blocked with a low-melting alloy 5 in liquid state, when the capillary 1 is filled with a mixed solution of an ampholyte mixture and a specimen and applied with a voltage to form a pH gradient in the capillary 1 for the movement of the specimen to an isoelectric point. |
