PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a rice cooker that is capable of cooking rice to be sweeter and chewier, and further, more glossy and elastic than the conventional one.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes: an inner pot 30 into which rice to be cooked is put; a rice cooker body 20 having an inner-pot storage part 20a for extractably storing the inner pot; a lid body 10 for openably/closably covering the inner-pot storage part; a heating means 23 for heating the inner pot; a temperature sensor 24 for detecting the temperature of the inner pot; a pressure regulating means 14 for regulating the pressure inside the inner pot; and a control means for executing the rice cooking process, including at least a cooking step, a reheating step and a steaming step, by controlling the heating means and the pressure regulating means. The control means continuously maintains the pressure inside the inner pot in a high-pressure state from the cooking step to the reheating step, and also, reduces the pressure inside the inner pot by opening the pressure regulating means in the reheating step. |
