Disclosed are graphite heat emitting materials with improved thermal conductivity in a thickness direction and a method for manufacturing the same. The graphite heat emitting materials according to the present invention includes a thermally expanded graphite matrix which is compressed in a thickness direction; highly dense pressed expandable graphite particles which are filled in the pores of the graphite matrix and has density of 0.1g/cm^3 or more.
