A terrestrial-digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB) relay device is provided. The relay device includes a digital signal processing part receiving a T-DMB signal of an radio frequency (RF) type, a modulating part receiving a T-DMB signal of an ensemble transport interface (ETI) type, an analyzing part selecting one among the ETI type and the RF type by analyzing a relay state of the RF type or the ETI type, and a selecting part outputting one among a T-DMB signal of the ETI type and a T-DMB signal of the RF type according to the selection of the analyzing part.
