<p>The reagent management method according to the present invention uses a reagent information database including at least information on the name of the reagent in circulation, uses a target string which is a character string capable of identifying a relevant reagent from among the group of character strings printed on the reagent packaging and uses a reference string which is a specific string preceding the target string, and performs an OCR. Thus, the reagent management method of the present invention may identify a reagent without a barcode, which is in circulation, by means of OCR, and therefore, may proceed with reagent storage/delivery in a convenient manner and achieve accurate reagent identification. Further, the reagent management method according to the present invention prevents the processes of storage or delivery when MSDS information is not read during reagent storage/delivery. Thus, the reagent management method of the present invention obliges a user to read MSDS information in order to ensure MSDS information reading by the user and thus to ensure safety. Further, MSDS information on the reagent in circulation can be automatically provided by a program, thus eliminating the necessity of ensuring MSDS for every reagent owned by a business place, a laboratory, a research institute, a research department or the like.</p> |
