PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a DL communication area without requiring angular adjustment of an LED for an optical beacon communicating optically with an in-vehicle device in a running vehicle in a predetermined communication area.SOLUTION: The optical beacon comprises a light projection part that emits DL beams having DL information. The light projection part comprises a plurality of near-infrared LEDs 71 that emit the DL beams. Each of the near-infrared LEDs 71 is an SMD and has a full angle &thetas; at half maximum of 60° or more. |
