The present invention relates to a high-resolution three-dimensional image display device using a linear light source and includes a backlight which includes multiple linear light sources separately arranged at regular intervals; an image display panel which displays a three-dimensional image; and a control unit which controls the view point images of the backlight and the image display panel. The image display panel includes a plurality of pixels and provides two or more view points. The linear light sources are composed of two or more linear light source sets of which the linear light sources are operated at the same time. The control unit operates the linear light source sets within a single frame of an image in order by time and is linked to the linear light source sets to rearrange the view point images provided for the pixels of the image display panel.
