PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access control device and access control method by which stable access control is performed without depending on the characteristic differences of memory cards.SOLUTION: If use area information does not exist within a newly attached memory card (S11:NO), transfer tests are performed for areas other than a program area if the memory card includes the program area (S14), or the transfer tests are performed for all areas if the memory card does not include the program area (S13). Then, it is determined whether the transfer tests by all transfer methods according to types of tasks are completed (S16), and if the transfer tests by all the transfer methods are determined to be completed (S16: YES), the results of the transfer tests are analyzed (S17) to determine an allocation area for each of the tasks and the use area information is written to the memory card (S18). |
