PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for improving face authentication accuracy, while considering secular change of a face.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes a face detection part, an identification part, an age determination part, a registration processing part, and a collation part. The face detection part detects a face in an input image. The identification part extracts feature quantity information showing feature quantity of the face to identify the face of a person. The age determination part determines age of the person with the face. The registration processing part prepares authentication information formed by associating the person of the face identified by the identification part with the age at least, to register it for each person. A collation part collates an authentication input image on the basis of the authentication information, to identify the person. The age determination part analyzes the authentication input image to estimate the age of the person in the input image. When a difference between the age of the person in the authentication input image and the age of the registered identified person satisfies a reference set in advance according to ages, the registration processing part prepares the authentication information based on the authentication input image, to additionally register it. |
