The arrangement (10) has upper and lower printed circuit boards (12, 14) comprising a pin hole extending through the circuit boards. An electrical strip conductor is provided on an upper surface (18) of the circuit boards, and an electrical non-conductive ring is provided on the surface of the circuit boards. Elongated electrical conductive pins (26) are inserted through the pin hole. The electrical non-conductive ring is arranged between the pin hole and the conductor such that the non-conductive ring physically separates the pins from the strip conductor on the surface of the boards. An independent claim is also included for a method for checking a soldering state in a printed circuit board.
