The present invention relates to a jig for connecting an electrode tap of a battery cell for secondary batteries and a welding method and, more specifically, to a laser welding jig for the secondary batteries to electrically and mechanically connect the electrode tap of the battery cell by welding with a laser and the welding method. The jig for welding the electrode taps of the multi-layered battery cell includes a stop bar, a press bar, and a laser welding head in order for a welding unit to be irradiated with a laser. The outer welding unit of the electrode taps is irradiated with a laser through a separation space of the press bar by the laser welding head.
