PURPOSE: A Grubbs supported catalyst is provided to easily remove a catalyst in catalytic polymerization reaction, especially, synthesis of a cyclic olefin polymer. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a Grubbs supported catalyst in which a support of following chemical formula 2 is bonded with a vinylidene ligand of a Grubbs catalyst comprises the steps of: reacting alkynation of a carboxyl group terminal of a polystyrene-based carboxypolystyrene resin; reacting vinylbenzylazide with the polystyrene-based resin with a carboxyl group at a terminal of alkyne; and reacting the Grubbs catalyst with the synthesized compound. |
