<p>A system for cartography and absolute geo-referencing of an at least partially submerged work (13), comprises a lifting tackle (14) from which is suspended a measuring device (16), and means, contained at least partially in the lifting tackle, for changing position and/or orientation of the measuring device so that it successively takes several distinct states each defined by a distinct pair "relative position" and "relative orientation" with respect to the work. The measuring device comprises: at least one acoustic sounder (4) delivering, for each state, distances between the acoustic sounder and surface points of a submerged part of the work; and a positioning device (6) delivering, for each state, information about the absolute position and absolute bearing relating to the measuring device. A processing unit delivers, for each state, the absolute positions of the surface points, as a function of the absolute position and absolute bearing information and of the distances.</p> |
