摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device. Specially, the technical object is to provide the liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof, capable of sensing a touch by successively driving electrodes on an electrode part corresponding to gate lines to which scan signals are inputted when the scan signals are successively inputted to the gate lines. The liquid crystal display device according to the prevent invention includes: a liquid crystal panel which is composed of a TFT substrate and a color filter substrate while interposing a crystal layer therebetween; a touch panel which senses the touch by a plurality of electrode parts which are formed in parallel to the gate lines, wherein the electrode parts are composed of driving electrodes formed in parallel to the data lines of the TFT substrate and receiving electrodes formed in parallel to the gate lines of the TFT substrate across the driving electrodes; a common voltage generating unit which generates a common voltage; a touch sensing unit which senses the touch by successively applying driving voltages to the driving electrodes; and a driving voltage generating unit which generates the driving voltages.</p>
