The present invention relates to a rotor element for use with a rotor and a rotor featuring said elements. The rotor is used in a screening apparatus of the pulp and paper industry. The rotor element (10) has a longitudinal centreline CL; two longitudinal edges, i.e. a leading edge (12) and a trailing edge (14); two opposite ends (22, 24), i.e. a first end and a second end; and two surfaces, i.e. a top surface and a bottom surface (20) arranged between the leading edge (12) and the trailing edge (14); the top surface being divided into a leading surface (18) having its origin at the leading edge (12), and a trailing surface (16) having its origin at the trailing edge (14), the leading edge (12) and the leading surface (18) being provided with undulations (U). |
