摘要 The present invention relates to a method for detecting and blocking the execution of an old version client module in a computer system by using a statistical way. The method for enabling a detection server to detect the old version client module, which is installed in the computer system, in a system environment that a plurality of computer systems comprising each client module accesses the detection server through the internet comprises a first step for enabling the detection server to receive a feature value of the client module installed in a currently accessed computer system; a second step for enabling the detection server to update the number of access users of a module item corresponding to the client module; a third step for enabling the detection server to calculate a ratio by comparing the total number of access users with the number of access users of the module item; and a fourth step for enabling the detection server to detect the client module installed in the currently accessed computer system as the old version client module when the ratio is less than a predetermined critical ratio.
